How you’ll serve our patients
As a patient care professional at ERC Pathlight, you can expect to be a part of team that delivers hands-on treatment, therapy sessions and/or support to our patients in one of our many centers around the nation, or virtually through our tele-behavioral health platform.
You will serve patients daily in a multitude of ways:
Perform vital, front line functions in all aspects of medical and behavioral health care
Responsible for observing, reporting and treating patients in a therapeutic setting
Play a key role in providing behavioral treatment interventions under the direction of the registered nurse and medical team
Assist patients with emotional regulation and behavioral de-escalation
Ongoing assessment and monitoring of physical/mental status
Ensuring patient safety
Perform checks on the unit to ensure environmental safety and patient location
Facilitate and support meals with patients consistent with Policy and Procedure
Maintain daily program structure
Assist in the AM/PM routine
Facilitate therapeutic groups within realm of individual training and expertise
Contribute clinical information and observations about patients as part of therapeutic interventions and document such in the electronic health record
Accompany patients on fresh air breaks and planned outings
Be creative in therapeutic interventions in order to maintain a safe, supportive, clinically sound milieu
Provide 1:1 outreach to patient if necessary
Must haves
High School Graduate/GED
Valid driver’s license with safe driving record
BLS (can be achieved upon hire)
Bonus Qualities
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
Experience working with mental health disorders
Experience in health care
