The expected annual salary range for this role is $65250.0 - $95700.0 a year.

What you’ll do:
Eaton is seeking a Business Administrator for our Orchard Park location. The responsibilities for this position include the following - administer contracts and manage activities required to fulfill contractual requirements and play an integral part in creating the production schedule based on customer’s needs and production capacity. In order to execute this role successfully, the Business Administrator must be able to perform each essential duty or be willing to develop the skills to perform them satisfactorily.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of quotes
- Generation of sales orders and order entry including management of repairs
- Contract review and program process tracking.
- Ensure compliance with all contractual obligations including terms and conditions, specifications, price, and delivery
- Ensure that customer requests are understood and acted upon in a timely manner; maintain customer communications
- Perform upfront capacity analysis and production scheduling
- Maintain quotes in quote management system
- Maintain contract files from proposal through contract closeout
Key Responsibilities
- Performs basic negotiations including pricing, delivery schedule and standard order requirements
- Primary point of contact for assigned business accounts for existing products and services
- Review RFQ and maintain records in support of quote and order review
- Ownership of order processing and acknowledgement
- Point of contact for all repair activities for assigned customers
- Provide basic information on existing products
- Manage routine customer accounts, accounts where Cobham Terms & Conditions apply or where existing corporate agreed-to Terms & Conditions are applied
- Communicates customer expectations; resolves PO updates with customer
- Drive accurate and timely responses of customer deliverables
- Improve site communication of customer feedback
- Ensures quotes and orders are in accordance with ITAR / Export Compliance or reviewed by compliance team
- Supports key performance indicator metrics

Qualifications:
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
- All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future.
- This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. “Green Card Holder”), Political Asylee or Refugee.
- Relocation is not provided. All candidates must reside within 75 miles of Eaton's Orchard Park, NY Facility.
Preferred Qualifications:
Completed Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management/Administration along with 2 years of experience in Business/Contract Administration- Experience in Government/DOD markets is a definite plus
- Oracle/ERP and/or Sales Force experience would really stand out
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and be self-motivated
- Willingness to support internal customers
- Skills: flexibility, organizational, communication, negotiating, time management, contract terms and conditions, capacity scheduling, pricing and quoting
- Strong interpersonal skills (i.e. communication, motivation, team work)
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Delivery focused mind-set
- On Time delivery for all communications, functional and BU
- Qualitative external feedback (i.e. customers, suppliers, market)
