What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electro-Mechanical Assembler (SW) position at Eaton Corporation?
Eaton’s Aerospace Group is currently seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join our team. This position is based at our Bethel, Connecticut facility.
The Electro-Mechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling very small and intricate products. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge in reading, interpreting, and utilizing technical procedures and blueprints. The individual must be comfortable working in a team environment. This first shift position is well suited for a patient individual who is a fast learner, is focused on quality output, and enjoys working in a demanding atmosphere.
Essential Functions:
A.
Assemble, setup and maintain tooling
B.
Assemble, test, calibrate and thermally compensate an electro/mechanical device
C.
Maintain quality records
D.
Interpret internal customer and supplier requirements
E.
Perform final acceptance testing on electro/mechanical pressure sensor (ATP)
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment required.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
- This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic
in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines
a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or
Refugee.
Position Criteria:
- Ability to interpret written instructions, visual aids, sketches and blueprints
- Basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Intermediate mechanical aptitude
