What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fabricator I/Assembler (3rd) position at Eaton Corporation?
Eaton’s ES CRDS COMM Commercial division is currently seeking a Fabricator I/Assembler (3rd). The hourly rate for this position is $17.94 per hour. What you’ll do:
The Fabricator I role is responsible for assembling case parts and products in the Fabrication Departement using machinery and hand tools.
- Comply with all safety policies and procedures, including wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment
- Perform job duties in a manner that follows Eaton's Quality standards and systems
- Assemble products using various types of equipment
- Use hand tools, small power tools, or other special equipment to assemble products
- Interpret orders and drawings to determine procedures and conduct work according to drawing specifications
- Conduct inspection of parts and quality checks using a variety of measuring tools
- Perform rework operations as required
- Replenish inventory of fabrication department
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work areas using Eaton’s 5S procedures
- Train employees new to the Fabricator I role
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, or GED from an accredited institution
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future
- No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate Cleveland, TN area (50 miles) will be considered for this position
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous assembly experience in a manufacturing setting
- Experience working with hand tools (e.g., screwdrivers, hammers, wrenches, drills) preferred
*Internal Candidates: Must have worked at least 6 months in their current role
