Eaton’s ES AMER DIG division is currently seeking a Pricing Specialist. This position can be based out of our Arden, NC; Raleigh, NC; Tampa, FL; Pittsburgh, PA; or Cleveland, OH offices. Candidates must reside within 50 miles of one of these locations.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $88499.97 - $129799.96 a year.

What you’ll do:
Position Overview:
The Pricing Specialist will be responsible for the coordination and creation of Brightlayer Industrial proposals. This role will work with Solution Architects and AEs to develop proposals complete with hardware, software (subscriptions and/or licensing), and installation/commissioning. Will require collaborative skillsets to navigate and work with cross-functionality teams (i.e. Sales, Services, Marketing, Product Lines, Customers, Finance, and Legal) in the development of proposals. Coordinate with key major project pricing teams (CHAMPS) and key division stakeholders (PDCA, CRDS, PCD, EESS, etc.) Contribute and help develop continuous improvement processes in support of pricing and proposal processes. Candidate must be self-motivating and possess the ability to provide innovative and value-added solutions to drive sales goals and meet SLA in line with the Brightlayer Industrial offer management overall strategy.
In this role you will:
- Manage the entire proposal process from start to finish to ensure compliance and conformance to established strategies and plans.
- Review incoming proposals from external and internal sources.
- Create price proposals for proposal responses.
- Oversee vendor relationship management for third party pricing within proposal.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with other teams (i.e. marketing, sales, legal, finance, partners, customers) for proposal response
- Write content and works with Subject Matter and Technical Experts to gather information.
- Write technical proposals and related business development documentation that meets specific pre-determined deadlines.
- Create graphics (images, charts, diagrams) to illustrate concepts in proposals.
- Provide quality assurance for formatting content, spelling, punctuation, grammar, and branding.
- Draft Statements of Work and work review cycles with customers and internal legal for services implementation on value-add services projects.
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of five (5) years of previous experience working in a global business, software deployment services, and sales / marketing environment.
- Experience with managing pricing strategies.
- Experience in developing proposals for new business opportunities, including RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs.
- Advanced abilities in Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
- Motivated self-starter and decision-maker with the ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines while maintaining a high-level of organization.
- Fluent in English both verbal and written.
- Legally authorized to work in the US on an on-going basis without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP Certification
- Working in a hardware / manufacturing environment with project management and Agile methodology experience
- Demonstrated abilities in Illustrator and Photoshop
- Experience with PowerBI and Power Automate
- Experience with the creation, maintenance, and development of a CRM database
