Eaton’s Corporate Sector is currently seeking a Risk and Compliance Lead to join our team. This position can be based at any Eaton facility in the U.S. and is eligible for a hybrid work setup.

Position Overview:

The Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) team provides global expertise in the design, implementation, monitoring, and support over internal controls & compliance activities, including:

  • Serve as GRC subject matter advisors
  • Lead successful project design, test, and implementation of internal controls (and/or improvements) to drive process efficiencies & effectiveness.
  • Manage & perform GRC compliance activities (access provisioning, segregation of duty maintenance, control monitoring, etc.)

As part of this team, the Risk & Compliance Lead will be responsible for managing SAP GRC functional responsibilities & compliance. This is a highly interactive position that requires excellent communication skills to successfully interact with Internal/External Audit, Information Technology Security GRC, Global Process Leaders, Business Sr Managers, and Project Managers.

In this function you will:

  • Provide SAP GRC Access Control (AC) and GRC Process Control (PC) expertise to facilitate the implementation and maintenance of internal controls to prevent fraud and financial misstatement.
  • Perform SAP GRC AC and GRC PC project lifecycle activities, primarily for Access Risk Analysis (ARA) and Continuous Controls Monitoring (CCM).
  • Partner closely with the SAP Security team to provide GRC support, primarily for GRC ARA (master data maintenance, ruleset analysis/updates, mitigating control creation/assignment, segregation of duty (SOD) analysis/remediation) and GRC CCM (master data maintenance, configuration/SOD/transaction/access rule setup).
  • Monitor the company’s SAP GRC systemic controls and ensure adherence to change control and governance processes for any changes made to GRC software, controls, or processes.
  • Liaison with project stakeholders (business senior managers, internal/external auditors, business compliance managers, finance global process leaders, etc.) to interpret GRC business requirements into technical design recommendations and solutions.
  • Provide audit support by gathering process compliance evidence and supporting documentation.

Qualifications

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, IT or equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive governance, risk and compliance related experience.
  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of a Eaton facility in the U.S. will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
  • Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future

Preferred qualifications:

  • Possess and demonstrate a solid understanding of business processes, internal control risk management, and related standards.
  • Managerial experience a plus (people and/or functional process).
  • Demonstrate proficiency in the following areas:
  • Risk and controls solutioning (preferably SAP S/4HANA)
  • SAP GRC (12.0 preferred)
  • SAP GRC Access Control (AC) functional experience
  • SAP GRC Process Control (PC) functional experience
  • Oracle GRC experience a plus.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $101,250 - $148,500 a year.
