Job Summary
Responsible for the management of Production Control, Materials Planning, Customer and Supplier Delivery, Import/Export tactical activities with the desired goal of managing inventories at their optimum level in keeping while meeting desired Supplier and Customer OTD targets and acting at all times according to Eaton’s Ethics Policy and values.
Job Responsibilities
Establish strong working relationships with Production and Costumer Service teams to ensure that there is a good understanding of customer requirements and changing demand conditions.
Introduce and manage Materials Planning procedures such that there are forecasting processes in place and that supply meets demand while optimizing inventory levels. This includes the management of suppliers.
Ensure that site planning functions work effectively with production personnel to match supply with demand, at minimum cost and maximum efficiency.
Establish processes to deliver the systems required to facilitate Production Scheduling/Control, Inventory Management, and Import/Export process.
Ensure purchase of all raw materials and component stocks keeping inventory levels and not compromising quality and availability of components.
Promote pro-active customer service where the local customer service teams effectively co-ordinate supply requirements and resolve issues for all group and non-group costumers
Ensure that raw materials distribution to production facilities operates to effectively.
Ensure and champion 100% SAP material master health status for area. Power user for SAP systems, working directly of local and corporate IT to drive World Class SAP performance.

- Supplier on-time delivery
- Customer on-time delivery
- Supplier management, scheduling, and inventory control
- Logistics efficiencies
- Elimination of process variability enterprise wide

Qualifications
Qualifications
Education level required:
- Bachelor’s degree in international trade, industrial engineering or similar
- APICS training/certification (desirable)
Years and area of experience required:
- 5 to 7 years of experience in Production planning and programming, Supplier Management
- Inventories, Bill of materials, MRP, MPS, Customer Orders, Shop Floor control, Purchasing, JIT
- Knowledge of Logistics, Freight Management, and Import/Export Processes
- SIOP Process exposure
Technical knowledge:
- English: Full coverage, written and spoken.
- Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP system.
- Knowledge and experience in executing metrics related to Supply Chain.
Soft skills:
- Leadership.
- Strategic thinking and behavior.
- Focus on results.
- Organizational skills development.
- Improvement ideas generator and developer.
- Skill in negotiation and monitoring assigned tasks.
