What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouser (Bar Hut) position at Eaton?
Eaton’s Electrical Crouse-Hinds division is currently seeking a 1st shift Warehouser (Bar Hut) to join our team. This position is based at our Syracuse, New York facility.

In this function you will:
- Perform all required duties to receive, check, select, weigh, store, transport and deliver diverse supplies, raw materials, machined parts, assemblies, bar stock, and stock material.
- Utilize radio frequency communication devices to transmit data to the computerized warehouse management system.
- Load and unload trucks, reconcile receiving reports to count of incoming goods and report discrepancies to supervision.
- Operate stock platform truck, electric truck, gas fork truck or hand truck and tri-axial system as required to receive, accumulate, store and dispense materials.
- Post parts received to production orders, assign or record locations and store parts as required.
- Select, count, and sort using PC based systems, print bar code labels required to perform necessary warehouse transactions; deliver orders to designated production areas; return materials to stockroom or other departments after use.

Qualifications
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
- Experience with fork truck and/or warehouse
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate geographic area (50 miles) of Syracuse, NY will be considered for this position
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
