Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Coil Winder - 2nd shift (Dept 08) to join our team in South Milwaukee, WI!
The hourly rate for this position is $20.55 per hour $2.50 / hr shift premium. The core hours are 2 : 30 pm - 10 : 30 pm.

This position is offering a sign-on bonus of $2,000*, less applicable withholding .
- Bonus terms :
- Bonuses are being offered for a limited time only. Applications must be submitted on or after January 1st, 2024 to qualify.
- Bonuses are only applicable to specific job types and shifts; additional terms and conditions may apply.
- Associates must be employed at the time of the payout.
- Bonuses will be payable in two installments : $1,000, less applicable withholding will be paid after three (3) months of employment and the remaining $1,000, less applicable withholding will be paid after nine (9) months of employment

What you’ll do :
The Coil Winder is responsible for performing a variety of diversified coil winding operations.
In this function you will :
- Set-up winding machines and related equipment for size and type of wire, number of turns, type and size of insulation, etc.
- Perform basic soldering operations.
- Adjust fixtures and tension devises for proper winding tension.
- Assemble special coils for proto-type jobs.
- Tag or label finished coils.
- Provide proper resistance when winding coils.
- Test finished coils.
- Read and use drawings, routings, blue prints, specifications, part numbers, and other shop documents affecting this position.
Qualifications :
Required (Basic) Qualifications :
- High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution required.
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship, now or in the future.
- No relocation is being offered for this role. All candidates considered must live within 50 miles of the South Milwaukee, WI facility.
Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Preferred Qualifications :
Minimum of one (1) year experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Skills :
- Must be able to walk / stand for 8 hours shift with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Must be able to lift 44lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.
