Join us at our Auburn Venue and be a part of game day action! We're looking for enthusiastic team members to work in various positions, including line cooks, grill cooks, and cashiers.
Job Description: Cashiers will be stationed at fan friendly stands at Auburn home football games, operate individual point-of-sale systems, facilitate customer transactions at each stand, and prepare food in an organized fashion delegated by their stand lead. Food items will include hotdogs, burgers, fries, pretzels, and more.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve food and beverage items while adhering to safety regulations.
- Follow proper food sanitation and alcohol service procedures
- Understand the functionality of the credit card machine (POS)
- Exhibit a high quality of customer service.
- Ensure guest satisfaction and anticipate customer needs
- Assist to open, serve, and clean the stand
- Operate an individual POS system
- Facilitate customer transactions at the stand
- Arrive on time to each shift; each shift 8-9 hours
Qualifications
- Customer service skills: Interacting with customers is a significant part of working a fan friendly stand. Strong communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally are crucial.
- Attention to detail: Staff must be able to get the correct items the customer requests in a timely manner.
- Physical stamina: Staff are often required to stand for extended periods, handle repetitive motions, prepare depleting product. Physical stamina and the ability to handle these tasks comfortably are essential.
