Responsibilities:

• Verifies all merchandise deliveries are accurate and performed to Company standards
• Communicates advance or delayed shipping information to the GM and Executive Chef
• Ensures timely and accurate input of all freight information through the Inventory Management system.
• Ensures the proper receiving procedures are used to control shortages.
• Ensures an orderly and neatly maintained stock and receiving area.
• Drive in a safe and courteous manner at all times, following all traffic signs
• Park delivery van in a safe location and follow all safety procedures.

Job Qualifications:

• One year of professional van or delivery truck driving experience
• Ability to prioritize work tasks, multi-task, and maintain focus
• Operate calmly and proactively in stressful situations
• Meet all required attendance guidelines of the position
• Able to work independently in a high volume environment
• Speak, read, write, and understand English and speak distinctly to others.
• Able to stand, bend, reach, kneel, squat for long periods of time
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Able to lift up to 40-60 lbs.
• Ability to read, count accurately and write clearly
