What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Inspector Level 2 position at EBA Engineering?
EBA Engineering, Inc. (EBA) is seeking several highly motivated people to join our Construction Management and Inspection team. We have current openings for construction inspectors with 3 to 6 or more years of experience in the building or rehabilitation of roadways, bridges, tunnels, and/or facilities. The ideal candidate has construction field experience. A company vehicle is provided for this position.
NATURE OF WORK
This position requires a background in construction. Applicants will be required to possess Mid-Atlantic Region Technician Certification Program (MARTCP) in appropriate classification (Asphalt Field Technician, Concrete Field Technician, Soils & Aggregate Compaction Technician, Pavement Marking Technician) based on project assignment (within one year). Shall possess Maryland Department of the Environment's Responsible Person Certification (formerly "Green Card") and MDOT SHA Traffic Manager's (TMA) Training (within one year).
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS OF WORK
Proficient in Math and English; have introductory knowledge of construction practices and techniques and engineering methods and techniques; demonstrate basic computer skills; able to work from simple plans and specifications; capacity to understand and follow instructions; and able to work effectively with others. In addition, the individual will be required to work in various weather conditions and terrains.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Able to pass a background check and drug test
- High school diploma or a high school equivalence certification
Note: Applicants may substitute education in an engineering curriculum at an accredited junior college, college, or university at the rate of (30) semester credit hours for one year of required experience.

Salary : $53,100 - $67,200
