About The Role
eBay is seeking a talented and dynamic product marketer to drive inbound product marketing and outbound go to market strategy for Co-brand cards and Digital Payments at eBay. This is a unique opportunity to become an integral part of the eBay marketing team working with the Financial Services product and commercial teams. This role will partner cross-functionally with product, design, research, marketing, communications, customer service and sales / market teams. To be successful, you should be an experienced Product Marketer, an expert in card issuing, seller capital / small business lending, and experienced in creating go-to-market and marketing plans with external partners. Context in e-commerce or similar two-sided network, buyer and business, tech platforms, is a benefit.
What You Will Accomplish
$106,800 - $162,800
Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

What You Will Accomplish
- You are responsible for the product value proposition narrative and go-to-market strategy for a range of services including co-branded credit cards, buy now pay later, digital wallet, new forms of payments globally, and buyer and seller e-commerce experiences across buying, selling, shipping, etc..
- Influence product roadmaps by synthesizing market, customer and competitive insights, build audience segmentations and opportunity sizing.
- Create customer feedback loops during the product and marketing development process to refine the product narrative and value proposition articulation.
- Develop product value propositions, narratives, customer messaging, naming and external facing proof points.
- Manage the go-to-market strategy and planning for product launches and then lead through channel experts to ensure execution and impact measurement. Track customer engagement and product adoption of new features by partnering with channel experts across in-product content, marketing, PR communications, customer service, in-market teams, and sales channels.
- Identify internal product market fit tracking metrics; synthesize customer feedback to provide signal amidst the noise across the product life cycle: development, launch, and optimization / expansion. Build up the value proposition leveraging the voice of the customer to optimize product marketing messaging and to advise on product recommendations.
- Define key metrics for success, and track progress against goals for the product launches and in-market growth adoption of existing products or services.
- 4 years of experience in product marketing, with at least 3 years leading company wide initiatives
- Strong track record of developing product and go to market strategies at financial services companies or in payments within e-commerce companies
- Proven ability to drive innovation, execute projects with excellence
- Success working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, and excellent communication skills
- Strong data analysis skills and experience with customer research techniques
