Farm Equipment Operator
General Position Overview:
This position has a variety of seasonal fluctuations in responsibilities. Maintaining equipment and grounds will be a focus in the winter after harvest until spring field preparation begins. Operating tillage equipment will be the primary responsibility in the spring and early summer. Assisting with field maintenance and spraying in the summer season will be the emphasis. Coordination and operating equipment for cover cropping and assisting others with harvest unloading lines in the fall will be the primary duties. Operating experience is a plus, but adequate training will be provided.
Requirements
Passion for agriculture and growing quality crop
Able to obtain a WSDA pesticide applicators license within 1year of hire
Safety always a primary focus
Duties & Responsibilities
Able to safely operate equipment such as but not limited to tractors, sprayers, dump trucks, excavator, backhoe, irrigation pump & reels, genie lift and forklifts, experience not required, training will be provided.
General maintenance trucks, tractors, sprayers, tillage equipment, and harvest line equipment.
Assist in field maintenance projects as weather allows during winter and early spring.
Willing to work extended hours, possibly weekends, and evenings during seasonal peaks.

Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
