Riley Crossing Childcare Center opened in 2019 and is located in Chanhassen, MN near Hwy 101 and County Road 212. our innovative on-site intergenerational childcare provides interactive programming with our senior residents at our onsite assisted living and memory care. Managed by Ebenezer, our mission is to heal, discover, educate for longer, healthier, more meaningful lives.
We are looking for a Child Care Teacher to support Ebenezer’s Intergenerational childcare program by caring for our children in their assigned age group and providing supervisor for assistant teachers and aides. Our Early Education Teacher will lead, plan and organize age appropriate activities to ensure the program provides the highest quality childcare available.
- 80 hours in two weeks; 10 hour shift option
- Older Infant Classroom and Younger Infant Classroom!
- Monday- Friday

Responsibilities/Job Description
Implementing developmentally age appropriate curriculum.Develop and implementing weekly lesson plansAssessing each child's development and administer Parent/Teacher conferences twice per yearMaintain a child friendly and orderly classroomImplementing effective guidance and support strategiesConnect with parents on child development issues, policies and other concerns related to their childrenReport any concerns to the director regarding staff or classroom issuesMaintains confidentiality of records and information of staff and familiesParticipates in program areas such as intergenerational activitiesSupervise heath, safety and overall wellbeing of the children at all timesMaintain certification in Pediatric First Aid, CPR, SUIDS/AHT
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
High school Diploma/GED - Child Development or Teacher qualified under Minnesota Rule 9503.0032
Preferred QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field1-2 years’ experience working with young children
Ability to lift 40lbs.CPR and Pediatric First Aid certification
