Overview
We are seeking a Cook who would be responsible for preparing and cooking meals as assigned using standardized receipes to meet established standards of high-quality care.
Plates food for optimal eye appeal to entice food consumption. Location Lake City, MN at Lake City Care Center.
- This food services aide position includes;
- On-call / casual
- Day shift
- Must pick up three shifts a month; one being a weekend shift

Responsibilities / Job Description
- Food preparation
- Follow standardized recipes and products to ensure products are consistent in quality and nutritional value
- Plates meals for residents / staff / visitors & volunteers in an attractive manor
- Handle and prepare food in a safe manner following policies and procedures of infection contril and safety
- Sanitize equipment and work area after each use
- Performs other duties as assigned and directed
Qualifications
Required :
- Serv Safe or able to obtain within first 90 days of employment
- 0-1 years of experience
- Must be 18 years old
Preferred
- Vocational / Technical Training or Associate Degree
- 1-3 years of experience
