Responsibilities/Job Description:
The Medical Records Director supervises, establishes and maintains medical record keeping practices for the Skilled Nursing Facility.
- 80 hours per pay period
- Monday through Friday

- Establish and maintain current resident medical records and files
- Maintain discharged resident medical records and files
- Manage the facility's resident release information
- Ensure that coding is accurate and complete
- Maintain Medical Records budget and assist with Nursing budget
- Supervise Health Unit Coordinator
Required:
- Minimum Associates Degree
- Experience working in LTC or Transitional Care
- MS Office experience
Preferred:
- 1-3 years' previous experience
- Point Click Care experience
- RHIT or RHIA Certification
