Role Description:
The role of the Quality Manager is crucial in leading our Quality Team. As a Quality Manager, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction, unwavering focus, and steadfast support for critical initiatives. Your primary objective will be to ensure that our products and services meet established quality standards and customer expectations. You will be required to develop and implement quality management systems, oversee quality control processes, maintain compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards, and collaborate with various stakeholders and departments to continuously improve organizational processes.
Core Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain a Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 standards.
- Ensure that all processes are documented and employees are trained in ISO 9001:2015 procedures.
- Establish and enforce quality assurance standards and procedures aligned with ISO 9001:2015.
- Conduct regular audits to assess the QMS's effectiveness and Identify improvement areas.
- Implement and manage quality control processes to monitor and verify that products and services meet specified requirements.
- Collaborate with production and operations teams to address and resolve quality issues.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall products and service quality.
- Analyze data and metrics to identify trends, defects' root causes, and improvement opportunities.
- Work with suppliers to establish and maintain quality standards for incoming materials and components.
- Conduct supplier audits and evaluations to ensure adherence to quality requirements.
- Monitor customer feedback and complaints to identify areas for improvement.
- Coordinate with customer support teams to address customer concerns and improve overall satisfaction.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and ensure the organization's compliance with relevant quality standards and certifications.
- Build and lead a high-performing team with a strong emphasis on ISO 9001:2015.
- Provide training to associates on quality standards, ISO 9001:2015 procedures, and the importance of quality in the organization.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Quality Management, Engineering, or a related discipline).
- 6 years of experience in Quality Management, preferably in manufacturing and stamping.
- 2 years in a QC Manager role.
- Strong Knowledge and experience with ISO9001:2015 or equivalent quality system requirements are required.
- Strong knowledge of quality standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Leadership experience with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular).
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Certification in quality management (e.g., Certified Quality Manager) is a plus.
- 3 years of experience working with Tier 1 and Tier 2 Automotive Customers and the Military.
- Ability to travel occasionally for customer visits.
