Production Planner

Essential Responsibilities

• Responsible for production planning in regards to capacities and need.
• Responsible for creating and reporting inventory in IFS.
• Responsible for controlling finished production work orders as it relates to IFS.
• Creates internal and external reports related to but not limited to IKEA forecast, planning of raw materials, finished products, inventory reports, etc.

Primary Objectives

• Perform other duties commissioned by Logistics Manager, and not included in this job description.
• Maintain official channels while performing commissioned duties.
• Inform the Logistics Manager about the course of work or arising deficiencies or the ones which can arise during the performance of work at the given position, present proposals of one’s own or other Company sectors performance improvements.
• Knowledge and respecting regulations and general norms binding in the Company, as well as regulations, rules, orders and general instructions etc. related to the knowledge of the job or applying to performed duties.
• Respect the principles and regulations applying to keeping confidential information
• Continuously increase one’s own professional qualifications.

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of IKEA’s standards and requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

· Being reliable, responsible, and dependable, and fulfilling obligations.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Independent thinking, strong organizational and planning abilities and excellent analytical and problem solving skills are essential.

· Ability to do addition, subtraction, division, multiplication, and measurement using whole numbers, decimals, percentages, and fractions.

· Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete and abstract variables in standardized and non-standardized situations.

· Ability to communicate professionally, respectfully, effectively, in manner that promotes growth and goal oriented achievement.

· Ability to multitask and work without immediate supervision.

· Strong ability to perform well under high pressure.

· Good team player and independent worker.

· Must have 3 years of experience and/or training in related field.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
