The Associate Reviewer will work individually and on teams to support the completion of project-specific tasks within estimated time frames and budget constraints and interface with the client on a day-to-day basis.
Role and Responsibilities
The ideal candidate for this Associate Reviewer position must be able to perform and/or support the following tasks:
- Responsible for assisting with Comprehensive Oversight Reviews.
- Leading or assisting with Special Assignments, Technical Assistance, and Corrective Action Support tasks.
- Drafting reports and technical memoranda.
- Assisting with the development of program and training content in alignment with client policy and guidance.
- Participating in conference calls, meetings, and conferences as needed.
- Attend and provide expertise during grantee workshops.
- Other responsibilities to ensure the successful execution of all work assignments.
Qualifications, Education, and Skills Requirements
- US Citizenship.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, or related fields.
- Minimum of five years of substantive professional experience in the public transit industry, including progressively responsible compliance testing and/or audit role(s) related to compliance with governmental or contractual requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to identify risks in the management of public transit, verify if requirements are complied with, and present solutions to any identified concerns.
- Demonstrated ability to explain complex topics or requirements to non-expert audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to locate root causes of issues, research multiple issues simultaneously, and to write comprehensive, accurate, and concise reports in a timely fashion, as well as give professional oral presentations.
- Expert knowledge in Microsoft Excel. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Possess high-level oral and written communications skills; effectively communicate with all levels of client management, contractor managers and client agency representatives; adept in generating and conducting briefings, presentations, etc.
