Eligibility Specialist

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Eligibility Specialist to join our team. As an Eligibility Specialist, you will be responsible for providing administrative support and ensuring accurate eligibility determinations for medical services. This is a vital role in our organization as you will be assisting patients in accessing the necessary healthcare services they need.

Duties:
- Review and verify patient information and documentation to determine eligibility for medical services
- Conduct interviews with patients to gather necessary information and complete required forms
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to obtain additional documentation as needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient eligibility status
- Communicate with patients regarding their eligibility status and any necessary actions they need to take
- Assist patients in navigating the healthcare system and connecting them with appropriate resources
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, addressing any questions or concerns they may have

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of medical administrative support procedures and practices
- Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures
- Proficiency in office software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)
- Previous experience working in a dental or medical office setting is preferred
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
