Responsibilities
- Maintain a perpetual inventory system for fuel and lubricant products: Ensure accurate and up-to-date records of inventory levels through systematic tracking.
- Monitor inventory levels and reconcile discrepancies: Regularly review inventory levels, investigate any discrepancies, and take corrective actions promptly.
- Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams: Collaborate to maintain accurate inventory records, optimize storage, and ensure efficient supply chain operations.
- Conduct regular audits: Verify physical inventory against recorded data to maintain accuracy and integrity of inventory records.
- Develop and optimize inventory control procedures: Implement best practices to minimize variances, streamline processes, and improve overall efficiency.
- Analyze inventory data and generate reports: Utilize data analysis to provide insights, identify trends, and support decision-making by management.
- Forecast inventory needs: Predict future inventory requirements based on consumption patterns, market trends, and business growth projections.
- Ensure regulatory compliance: Adhere to industry regulations and standards related to inventory management in the petroleum sector.

Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Skills
- Implementation of inventory management best practices and process improvements.
- Proficiency in perpetual inventory systems and ERP software.
- Strong understanding of fuel and lubricant products, including their properties and handling requirements.
- Knowledge of inventory management and related financial accounting/ reconciliations
