The Department of Music at Pittsburg State University is accepting applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor, the primary focus of which will be to lead the string and orchestral areas of our program.
The Department of Music is accredited by NASM and offers a Bachelor of Music degree with three emphases (performance, music education, and music with elective studies in an outside field), as well as graduate programs in performance, music education, and conducting. Duties and Responsibilities
Faculty members are expected to be active in performance, research and/or other creative activities, and service to the department, college, university, and community.
