ECC has a rare opportunity to join our team in an Accounting Manager position in our Burlingame, CA or Lakewood, CO office. The incumbent is primarily responsible for the daily operations of the accounting department ensuring financial reports are accurate, timely and in compliance with standards. This role also includes management of the General Ledger and monthly consolidation process that support and advance the Company’s long-term business objectives.

Principal Accountabilities
- Posting of daily cash receipts
- Posting of journal entries created by staff accountants
- Revenue recognition oversight in accordance with ASC 606
- Monthly review of account reconciliations
- FloQast management
- Supervising key accounting operations:
- VAT documentation processes and recovery efforts
- Lease Accounting
- Fixed Assets
- Other accounting areas as determined by the Corporate Controller
- Preparation of monthly consolidated financial statements and support files
- Provide oversight and supervision of intercompany accounting
- Maintain appropriate internal controls documentation and procedures within the department to minimize risk and liability
- Coordination for the yearly financial audit.
- Review information gathered for annual surveys.
- Collaborate with the Treasury Manager to deliver financial information as needed for tax, insurance renewals, etc.
- Collaborate with non-USD team members to ensure timely and complete posting of non-USD transactional activity
- In addition to the accountabilities above, other responsibilities, tasks, and deliverables may be assigned to the incumbent of this position.
- Proven ability to implement programs to address complex needs and problems,
- Competent in using Microsoft Office products, email systems, and Windows ,
- Eight years of progressively responsible experience in an accounting department, with two years as senior professional with supervisory experience,
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- Knowledge of Deltek Costpoint,
- Construction accounting experience
- Public accounting experience
- CPA license and/or MBA in Accounting
- Prior experience researching technical guidance to support accounting positions.
