ECC is seeking a Litigation Manager.The Litigation Manager provides essential guidance and support to a team in prosecuting or defending lawsuits. This role ensures efficient case management, adherence to timelines, and effective collaboration between ECC personnel and ECC’s outside counsel.
Monitor the progress of ongoing litigation cases to ensure work is completed promptly
Provide updates to the team on legal procedures, documentation, and court filings
Collaborates with legal professionals to strategize case development.
Acts as a liaison between the legal team, experts and outside counsel and fact witnesses
Facilitate communication between attorneys, litigants, and other court personnel
Recommend appropriate actions to mitigate potential exposure.
Collaborate with legal professionals to assess risks and develop effective strategies
In addition to the accountabilities above, other responsibilities, tasks, and deliverables may be assigned to the incumbent of this position.
Requirements
Thorough knowledge of ECC projects and procedures
Communicate effectively by written and verbal means
Perform multiple concurrent tasks and meet timelines, as directed
Work well independently and as a team
Competent in using Microsoft Office products, email systems, and Windows
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Construction Management or related degree.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior construction claims experience
ECC targeted base salary range is $120,00 to $150,000 annually. Actual salary offered may be affected by education, training, certifications, experience, skills, level of responsibility, and location.
