EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or college coursework or Military Experience preferred.
  • High School Education required.
  • Two (2) plus years’ experience in a professional environment.

WORK SCHEDULE

  • Work from Mon. thru Friday 9:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Responsible for the promotion and sales of flooring products in a designated territory
  • Visit retailers, wholesalers, and contractors for the purpose of promoting the products.
  • Provide product knowledge and marketing support at the customer’s location(s).
  • Educate the customer’s sales team on product lines.
  • Accurately maintain customer database and generate sales reports as needed.
  • Consistently work with existing customers to retain and increase their business.
  • Coordinate with customers to maintain appropriate quantities of promotional materials.
  • Increase brand awareness through strategic placement of samples and displays.
  • Perform additional duties as required and or requested.
  • Excellent communication skills, self-motivated, self-starter, sense of urgency, personable, extrovert personality, well-organized
  • Industry experience Preferred but not required
  • Provide high level of customer service
  • Speak clearly, listen actively and think critically
  • Problem-solving skills with the habit of being proactive
  • Intermediate skills in MS Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Previous experience using iPads, iPhones or smart phones would be helpful
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends, evenings and holidays
  • Willingness to travel, up to 50% of travelling required
  • Ability to drive company box truck
  • Ability to carry samples and displays up to 50lbs
  • Willingness to place and assemble displays in customer showrooms

COMPENSATION/BENEFITS:

  • $50,000- 60K /year Salary
