ECHO is looking for 1st shift Machine Operator in our Molding department! The Machine Operator plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and accurate operation of the injection molding machinery.
No Experience Needed! Will Train!
1st Shift M-F 6:45am-3:00pm!
$16/HR

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Performs a range of tasks related to injection molding, including trimming flash material and runners, inspecting parts for defects, and counting and packaging parts.
- Promptly reports any quality issues to the group leader or supervisor.
- Ensures a clean and organized work area and trims plastic parts to specified standards, removing excess flashing and runners as needed.
- Conducts thorough inspections of all parts to identify defects, immediately notifying the group leader or supervisor if any issues or questionable parts are detected.
- Accurately counts parts and packages them in standard quantities as per instructions to minimize scrap.
- Maintains precise logs, recording details such as parts produced, scrap, and downtime, including hourly counts for semi-automatic jobs.
- Additionally, performs various other duties and assignments as requested to contribute to the overall operation of the department and company.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Demonstrates the capability to adhere to written procedures (with Spanish translation if needed) and comprehend verbal instructions effectively.
- Capable of standing for 100% of the work duration and lifting weights of up to 30lbs.
- Shows basic mechanical aptitude.
- Displays proficiency in multitasking, including accurate counting and safe usage of trimming devices, including small hand tools.
- Open to working on different production lines during downtime.
