What are the responsibilities and job description for the Culinary Steward position at Echo Lake Inn?
The Echo Lake Inn is currently recruiting candidates for the position of Culinary Steward for our very busy Winter Season at our beautiful country Inn just North of Ludlow Vermont. This position is an integral part of our talented service team whose mission is to provide our customers with an exceptional dining experience, under the direction of our experienced culinary staff. We are looking for both seasoned professionals and high energy self-starters to join our team on a full time or part time basis. With many Skiers and Boarders in house and staying nearby our 4.5 star restaurant is quite busy. We also host numerous special events.
Experience working in both a team environment and independently is beneficial. Some of the job responsibilities will include food preparation, checking in produce, dish washing, work area cleaning, and compliance with all regulatory requirements. You will need to be able to navigate stairways and lift 30 pounds. We are more than willing to pay a competitive wage that is commensurate with your experience.
This is a position for a hands-on service self-starter that likes working in a team environment in a high-quality establishment.
