Job Summary:
As a warehouse clerk in the manufacturing industry, you’ll play a crucial role in keeping the operation running smoothly. Your duties will include organizing and keeping track of inventory, preparing products for shipping or distribution, and ensuring that all materials are properly labeled and stored in designated areas. You’ll be responsible for physically moving products and materials using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and ladders. Attention to detail is a must as you’ll need to accurately record information about shipments and inventory levels, as well as inspecting and reporting any damagers or defects on products. This job requires physical strength and endurance as you’ll be on your feet for long periods of time and lifting heavy items. Job Duties and Responsibilities:
· Receive and stock products in appropriate zones and locations
· Pull orders by identifying part numbers that are numeric and alpha-numeric
· Accurately issue and receive materials
· Assist with loading and unloading shipments
· Breakdown bulk purchases into manageable quantities
· Print Labels and enter basic information into ERP software
· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment
· Operate Equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
· Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
· Support other departments as needed
· Work independently with little to no supervision
· Able to read, stand, walk; use hands and reach with arms; bend, reach, lift & climb ladders/steps; stand and walk for the duration of the shift
· Additional duties as assigned by Warehouse manager
· Positive & Professional Attitude
Qualifications:
· High School Diploma or GED equivalent
· Basic math and computer skills
· Ability to operate forklifts (Training will be provided)
· Communication and problem-solving skills
· Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects
· Must be available Monday-Friday from 7:30am to 4:30pm with 1 hour lunch
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
