What are the responsibilities and job description for the Farm Worker position at Eckhardt Farms, Inc.?
About us
Eckhardt Farms, established in 1858, is a mid-sized family farm run by 4th and 5th generation producers. We diversify our crop but specialize in onion, corn and dry bean production. The bulk of our land is focused around the LaSalle, Platteville and Gilcrest areas with some acreage in Prospect and Lucerne as well. Irrigation includes a mix of sprinklers and flood irrigation, and we use a wide range of John Deere tractors to work the land. Educating people about the agricultural world is of utmost importance to us so we are involved with many boards and committees and regularly host groups from surrounding universities and government entities so they can see farm life first hand.
