Eclaire Health is seeking a skilled and experienced Business Operations Accountant to join our team. Eclaire Health is a manufacturer of healthy chocolate bars. We are dedicated to empowering our team and enhancing the success of our company. We are in search of a skilled and organized Accountant with business operations experience. The Accountant will be responsible for overseeing month-end closing activities, including financial statements, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and the collection of payroll and tax information.
Job Location: Fairview, Oregon
Essential Job Functions
- Assist with month and year-end closing and consolidation.
- Manage accounts, including account analyses, roll forwards, and reconciliations.
- Manage controls and documentation requirements.
- Ability to read financial statements and make recommendations on business-related investments.
- Collect data to determine the cost of business activities such as raw material purchases, inventory, and labor.
- Analyze manufacturing costs and prepare periodic reports.
- A/R, A/P, payroll and purchasing needs
- Raw material receiving and SOS inventory management
Preferred Education and Experience
- Degree in Accounting
- Accounting experience
- Business experience
- Experience with Quick Books
- Prior experience in manufacturing setting is preferred
- Experience with costing and developing excel costing tools
Requirements
- Strong understanding of accounting principles
- Ability to work independently
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong work paper techniques
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must have excellent QuickBooks and Computer skills

Work Environment
