Position Overview:
- Able to work on both specific tasks or a whole project from inception to completion within area of expertise.
- Effectively communicates with Business and IT partners to plan and achieve project initiatives.
- May contribute to managing projects according to accelerated timelines and ensuring all analysts under its stewardship have the resources needed to complete tasks on time.
- Will be expected to collaborate with the team for the resolution of difficult, complex problems.
Required Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience
- PowerShell scripting or of any Scripting language (Python, Perl, Bash, Shell, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with networking implementation and deployment
- Experience creating and maintaining high-availability systems
- 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure as a Network Engineer in a Cisco environment
- Experience with Cisco Routing and Switching Technologies for networks utilizing Cisco IOS
- Expertise in Cisco Wireless and wired networking
- Must have Cisco Client 2.3 or above experience
- Experience working in network design and implementation, data center routing switching, troubleshooting and operations
- Strong hands-on knowledge and understanding of the following IT infrastructure technologies:
- VMware administration, including:
- Wireless Access experience
- Cisco Stack
- Cisco Catalyst 9xxx experience is a requirement
- Certificate based authentication
- SDWAN and SDA experience
- VMware administration, including:
- Experience in policy based
- Experience doing production cut-overs in a sensitive environment formal change management experience
- Wired and Wireless troubleshooting expertise, specifically in Cisco
- Windows Operating System support
- Device fingerprinting experience is required
- Client 2.3 experience or above
- Cisco Client licensing experience
- ACI experience
- Demonstrated deep expertise in technical and security process design.
Required Skills:
- Time management skills and have worked with projects
- Ability to work alone or in groups, managing multiple projects and finding solutions to keeping projects on track
- Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities
- This position is expected to be fully autonomous with a strong ability to understand and synthesize the problems being discussed and create and follow the roadmap that will allow for problem resolution.
- Must be competent in configuration changes, switch migrations, and rack and stack.
Qualifications:
- CCNP or higher is a plus to have
- Experience with virtualization is a plus to have.
- Healthcare environment is highly preferred
- Background in Healthcare or other regulated industries will be considered
- All certificates are a plus to have
- AV knowledge is ideal to have
