Position Overview:
- The primary purpose of this position is to conduct laboratory experiments for the biophysical characterization of protein reagents for use across multiple technology platforms, including but not limited to: Flow cytometry, IHC, and immunoassays.
- In this role the individual will be responsible for collaborating and communicating across the organization to assure on-time delivery of high-quality characterized materials.
- This role will require the contingent worker to work in a laboratory setting.
- They will not work with blood, animals or hazardous materials.
- Works under limited supervision to design, execute and analyze BLI, SPR and / or other experiments to assess biophysical / binding properties of antibody and non-antibody protein reagents.
- Works under limited supervision to design, execute, and analyze data for immunoassay method development activities.
- Troubleshoots routine assay problems and instrument malfunctions.
- Works under limited supervision to generate final data summaries and presents to stakeholders.
- Maintains required training per Client standard operating procedures.
- Maintains and completes notebooks and other documentations as per departmental guidelines.
- Achieves objectives in a manner consistent with the Client Behaviors.
- Bachelor's Degree 6 years of related industry experience.
- Master’s Degree with 3 years of related industry experience.
- Ph.D. in related field with 0-3 years of related experience.
- Some knowledge of BLI / SPR and immunoassays and general laboratory techniques.
- Applies scientific and / or technical skills and functional knowledge to conduct experiments / research / studies in assigned area.
- Proficient in scientific / technical writing.
- Can interpret scientific results, designs and executes the next logical step in a series of related experiments.
