Role Summary
eClerx is seeking a skilled, team-oriented Equity Settlements Analyst. You will be responsible for the resolution of aged Equity Settlements cash breaks. This role supports daily equity activity and works as part of the global settlements team to assist with development, testing and implementation of internal system changes. Strong execution skills, detailed-oriented and flexibility are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Acting as a Subject Matter Expert responsible for the resolution of aged Equity Settlements cash breaks
- Reconciliation and analysis of breaks with a view towards ensuring quick resolution
- Investigation and resolution of client fails through various means, including daily interaction with trading desks, sales desks and middle office groups
- Responding to client queries relating to position breaks, corporate action bookings and reporting etc.
- Identification of technology / data feed issues triggering breaks and liaising with various technology teams to ensure resolution
- Identification of break patterns - systemic issues that would need to be resolved via technology fixes / behavioral issues (desk/client led delays / misbookings) and proposed resolution
- Timely escalation or any risks and issues to operational and departmental leads
- Acting as a liaison between the Operations Leads in India and New York to facilitate clearance of breaks
- Working as part of the global settlements team to assist with development, testing & implementation of internal system changes
Eligibility Requirements
- 6-10 Years of Experience on Equity Settlements including Extensive experience working on the resolution of Cash Breaks
- Strong business understanding of the Equity Derivative Products, Calculation Methodologies, Cash Reconciliations and Break resolution
- Excellent communication, mailbox/queue management and client handling skills
- Time management and ability to resolve issues in an efficient manner
- Flexible to work Hybrid Shifts - Extensive interaction with our teams in India required
- Strong Execution skills, Organized, Detail oriented, flexible, self starter & highly motivated
- Ability to work with teams across time-zones and cultures
- Excellent data management and analytical skills
- Excellent multi-tasking and creative problem solving skills
- Working knowledge of Excel
