What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Lead position at EclipseIA?
Shift: 1st Shift (5:45am to Finish)
Under the direction of the Regional Manager, the Warehouse Lead is responsible for smooth and efficient operation of the inbound container unloads.
Preferred Experience
- 6 months of Warehouse/Distribution experience on an inbound dock
- Directly leading six or more employees to complete objective(s)
- Experience with RF scanning and troubleshooting
- Experience in a high SKU count environment
- Experience with time/function tracking and basic data entry
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and written
Job Functions
- Analyze client provided daily schedule to adjust staffing needs
- Unload/position freight on dock to optimize efficiency
- Oversee small teams of employees organizing and palletizing mixed freight and safe operation of MHE/PIT equipment
- Conduct transactions and billing through web-based payment processing system
- Communicating concerns, updates, and estimated completion times with customer
- Ensure all employees are utilizing all safety precautions and maintaining safe work environment
