WAREHOUSE MAINTENANCE WORKER

Payrate $25 per hour

***1ST Shift***7am/8am- till Finish (approximately 4pm)

They are responsible for completing routine maintenance, undertaking repairs and tackling a range of other practical tasks.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

·Shopping Cart repairs

• Changing wheels
• Chains
• Handles
• Child belts
• Quarter slots

Various painting projects

• Painting dock door inside and out
• Interior doors
• Poles throughout the WHSE
• Lines for dock and shipping aisle
• PIV’s outside
• Curbs/light poles inside/outside WHSE
• Walls throughout the WHSE

Signs

• Hanging banners
• Aisle signs in all areas

Various Cleaning projects

• - picking trash up from lot and empty outside garbage cans
• - cleaning behind dock plates & outside in front of all bays
• - keeping trash area picked up and cleaned
• - power washing trash area weekly
• - cleaning blue doors for cooler areas

Minor Racking Repairs (fall team/pallet recovery team should know how to do this)

• Clearing carts of wrapped plastic wrap from rollers
• Butting trays back in rails

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

· 2-3 years of warehouse maintenance experience required

· The ability to work in a physically demanding warehouse environment continuously lifting and moving A up to 50lbs

- Use Hand tools and experience with painting in warehouse

· Manuel pallet jack, or other warehouse material handling equipment certification preferred

· The ability to meet fast-paced productivity goals and standards

· Ability to work in a cooler and freezer environment (25-40 degrees)

· Overtime may be required during peak/seasonal volumes

· Required to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check

· Reliable transportation with the ability to arrive on time

· Must be eligible to work in the US - We participate in Everify.

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Night shift
• Rotating weekends
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• Industrial painting: 1 year (Preferred)
• Hand tools: 1 year (Preferred)
• Warehouse Maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• Syracuse, NY: Relocate before starting work (Required)
