What are the responsibilities and job description for the AR SS Payment Clerk position at Eco Enterprises LLC?
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Record customer payments (e.g., credit card, checks, wires) for multiple locations daily
- Maintain daily logs
- Reconcile payment journal against banks
- Monitor payment history
- Work with other departments throughout the company to help remove obstacles that may prevent customer payment
- Research, resolve and communicate and discrepancies or outstanding balances on customer accounts, including telephone, mail, or email correspondence.
- Assists with daily, monthly closing of A/R records and maintaining A/R files including year-end files.
- Perform other related duties and assignments as required, including but not limited to assist with various audit requests, SOX payables controls and SOX expense approvals.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Must be familiar working in a high volume.
- Strong organizational, analytical and account reconciliation skills.
- Ability to manage confidential information in a discreet, professional manner.
- Ability to collaborate with customers and employees at all levels of the organization promptly and professionally.
- High integrity and work ethic.
LANGUAGE / COMMUNICATION SKILLS
- Excellent communication skills.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
COMPUTER & MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
- Experience in D365 or similar ERP is a plus.
- Computer skills in Microsoft Office, Excel and Internet savvy.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations including calculations of percentages and discounts.
REASONING ABILITY
- Ability to exercise good judgment; makes decisions in logical and rational manner; demonstrates “common sense", practical and stays cool under pressure.
