• Receive and unload incoming supplies and reconcile items with packing slips, inspect shipments for damages or defects, record problems, and notify the Production Manager.

• Prepare Packing Slips and Box Labels to ensure contents match Purchase Order, Pack materials to ensure safe delivery.

• Assist in routine maintenance and upkeep of equipment, shipping/receiving area, and warehouse.

• Maintain clean warehouse environment to achieve warehouse appearance standards, and perform cleanup of surrounding building / grounds.

• Safely operate general warehouse equipment, e.g., pallet jack, 2-wheeled hand-truck, and various carts. Forklift experience preferred.

• Participates in-taking warehouse inventory counts according to guidelines.

• Inspects product, consults with the warehouse management regarding product quality, safety concerns and sanitation issues.

• Performs all assigned tasks, accurately, efficiently, and within company policy and procedures.

• Follows the ergonomic program according to established production procedures.

• Organizes and Executes with Efficiency: Stays organized and maintains company standards to support overall productivity

• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.

• Perform basic arithmetic operations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.

• Gives attention to detail and follows instructions.

• Self starting, ability to work both independently and within a team environment.

• Frequently required to lift and place product weighing up to 50 pounds on pallets at various heights.

• Frequently required to sit, stand, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, carry and walk throughout the warehouse.

• Continuously work in varying temperatures, hot and cold (including outdoor temperatures)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $10.50 - $12.00 per hour
