Position: Crew Hand Pay Type: Hourly
Reports To: Crew Lead Pay Schedule: Weekly, Thursday
Department: Maintenance Pay Range: 15.00/Hour
Employment Type: Full/Part/Seasonal-Time

Position Summary: Responsible for efficiently producing quality landscape service that meets or exceed the standards of clients and management.

Core Tasks:

• Prepare Trucks for Daily Operation

o Ensure fuel cans, weed eater string, edger blades, etc. are properly stocked and secured.

• Perform Maintenance Services to assigned properties. o Every property is unique in its needs however standard services typically include mowing turf areas, trash pickup, edging curbs and walkways, debris clean up, pruning, weed pulling, etc.
• Maintenance & Servicing Equipment

o Preventative Maintenance

• Clean out trucks of trash and debris at the end of each workday, clean off equipment of debris, etc. o Servicing
• Equipment greasing, oil changes, sharpening blades, etc. as defined by either company policy and/or equipment manual.
• Company Support o Assist in landscape projects as needed or schedule allows. o Participate in company seasonal shifts such as fall to winter setup’s, winter to spring setups, yard and shop cleaning/maintenance/repairs/renovations.

Education: None
Experience: 1 Years Preferred, willing to train
Transportation: Must have reliable transportation to and from work
Performance: Must maintain performance levels as outlined in company policies.
Must be able to:

• Push and/or pull various tools, products, or items.
• Carry up to 50lbs unassisted.
• Pass a drug test.
• Utilize various lawn care equipment.
• Walk varying distances daily.
• Stand, walk, bend or stoop multiple times daily while performing duties.
• Grip and squeeze repeatedly, utilize hand saws, pruners, etc.
• Environmental Conditions o Exposure to outdoor weather conditions including but not limited to summer heat, cold/rainy weather, snow/icy weather.
• Exposure to equipment with multiple pinch points, sharp objects, moving parts.
• Exposure to vibrations for extended periods.
• Exposure to varying levels of noise.
• Attend work Monday thru Friday with occasional Saturday shifts. o Work varying hours and times during inclement weather events.
• Must be able to adhere to all company policies and standards.

Technical Skills:

Must be able to or learn to, within a reasonable time, operate various pieces of equipment such as mowers, edgers, backpack blowers, trimmers, chainsaws, etc.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Weekly day range:

• Monday to Friday

• Must be willing to commute to shop every workday. Shop is located in Seligman, MO. Transportation to and from job locations is provided from there.
