Job Description

Nalco Water, an Ecolab Company is looking for a CHEMStaff Leader to drive growth and profitability in value-adding consulting services into the industrial sectors.  In this position you will lead a team of business development managers and technical consultants to provide technical expert solutions for engineering, chemistry, laboratory, and environmental issues.  The team’s services will support the on-going issues around program optimizations, asset management, data quality and control, performance improvements, project management, problem solving/troubleshooting, and leveraging digital solutions.

What You Will Do:

  • Own the CHEMStaff P&L and deliver on the group plan
  • Talent Management – Hiring, Coaching, and Development
  • Direct Manager of Work Execution & Sales Teams
  • Develop, communicate, and execute a CHEMStaff growth strategy that meets annual targets
  • Business Development (Ecolab integration of product lines).  Develop internal and external relationships to accelerate growth in this business
  • Support the CHEMStaff sales organization in proposals and sales meetings
  • Support quality control/assurance of work execution end-product

Territory/Location Information:

  • This position can be remote or located in any of the Ecolab/Nalco Water offices in Naperville IL, Sugarland TX, or St. Paul MN.
  • Minimal overnight travel required

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Technical sales or field sales support experience
  • Possess a valid Driver's License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
  • Immigration sponsorship is not available for this role

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering (chemical, mechanical, industrial) or life sciences (biology, chemistry, etc.)

Water treatment or specialty chemical industry experience

Working knowledge of boilers, cooling towers, and wastewater treatment systems
