What You Will Do:
Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Plant Administrator is responsible for providing administrative and support to the plant employees and leadership team, as well as promoting positive employee relations. The Plant Administrator will be the main contact for plant purchasing and payroll administration tasks, as well as supporting the general administrative needs of the site. This role will be on-site M - F, 8am - 5:00pm.
Main Responsibilities:
- As the site Purchaser for expenses, you will purchase office, production, and maintenance supplies/services using the purchasing system. You will also process invoices and reconcile exception invoices.
- Tracks office, production, and maintenance spending, adhering to monthly budgets.
- Serves as the go-to person for Workday timekeeping administration tasks and reporting.
- Maintain multiple email distribution lists for the site.
- Assist with the New Hire onboarding process: desk setup, office supplies, PPE & Uniforms
- Manage office files and records, including confidential information and required compliance postings, in accordance with internal procedures.
- Assist site leadership with requests for data acquisition/analysis and other administrative services. Ensure data integrity for the site personnel.
- Coordinate employee events/celebrations, such as service anniversaries, holiday celebrations, Company picnic/recreational events, and charitable events.
- Arrange meetings, catering, travel, and plant tours; Maintain organization charts, phone lists, email groups, mail bins,
- Perform clerical, administrative, and general office duties involving recordkeeping and file maintenance, audit and compliance-related tasks, document creation, mail distribution, UPS shipments, and supply management.
- Oversees general office equipment including copiers, printers, postage, and recycle bins.
Position Details:
- Plant location: Fresno, TX
- Work week and shift: Monday - Friday 1st Shift 8:00AM - 5:00PM
- Compensation package offered: $26.44/hour with immediate benefits
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma Required.
- 3-5 years experience in an administrative role, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Will consider less experience in conjunction with a degree in a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, Office Management, Liberal Arts, Accounting or a related field.
- Effective problem solving and problem resolution skills.
- Previous and experience in Workday and SAP system is a plus.
- Prior timekeeping/payroll experience is a plus.
- OnBase and MyBuy experience a plus.
