What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supply Planner - Life Sciences position at ECOLAB?
The Ecolab Life Sciences division is seeking a Supply Planner! The Supply Planner is responsible for collaborating with Supply and Demand Planning, Manufacturing, Logistics, Procurement, Sales, and Marketing to determine the appropriate supply strategies based on critical demand and supply characteristics and managing service and inventory level(s) for a subset of our business. In addition, the Supply Planner is the liaison for Demand Planning, Sales and Customer Service to the manufacturing operations to address supply and resolve customer service issues.
What You Will Do:
Convert the demand plan into a network supply plan. This includes developing and sending a master production schedule and distribution requirements plan while optimizing network capacity.
Manage inventory and achieve required inventory levels at the defined inventory component level across network stocking locations to meet customer service levels. Address inventory imbalances and implement corrective actions.
Identify and resolve capacity constraints over the planning horizon to support development of a feasible plan.
Balance production planning across the network to maintain sprint capacity, including load leveling in preparation for maintenance shut downs, seasonal volumes, etc.
Identify and address supply variability issues and support demand planning in forecast accuracy improvement process to improve overall plan feasibility and reliability.
Monitor key master data and supply chain parameters in planning/ERP system(s.)
Coordinate inter-plant scheduling constraints related to schedule break-ins, raw materials, etc. facilitated through regular communication.
Support the sales and operations planning process.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field of study
2 years of applicable Supply Chain experience
No immigration sponsorship available
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficiency with common ERP systems and MS Office, primarily Excel and Power Point
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Currently progressing towards APICS Certification
Planning/inventory management or master planning experience
Specific Planning System Experience (JDA, APO, etc.).
Database and PowerBI experience
Strong learning agility
A track record of successfully delivering to Key Performance Indicators and business objectives
Some experience with analytical and problem-solving skills to drive decisions and build consensus among stakeholders
