Job Description
Job Title: Program Manager
Duration: 7 Months (high possibility for temp to perm)
Pay Rate: $64.90 - 72.11/hr on W2
Shift: Hybrid – 2 days in office
The Interoperability Product Manager will develop and execute strategies that drive interoperability of core systems, define the key requirements, identify potential partnerships, create a clear certification process and work with the development team to deliver a compelling interoperability subscription offering. The Interoperability PD will deliver a platform that aligns with the broader Rauland strategy to drive future growth subscription offerings.
- Drive product vision, plan short term and long-term roadmap, and be accountable for delivery
- Lead collaborative effort to define and implement data standards for interoperability (ex. feedback process, implementation guide development, use case creation)
- Collaborate with end users and IT management to validate business requirements for health data interoperability
- Respond to user problems
- Become subject matter expert for assigned applications and related industry standards
- Ensure best practices, policy and information security requirements and standards are implemented and regularly reviewed for improvement.
- Active participation in relevant industry standards organizations (ex. HIMSS).
- Collaborate with internal staff, Plan representatives, and industry organizations to effectively communicate and engage in strategic industry initiatives
- Co-lead the information sharing electronic clinical data exchange (eCDE) workgroup.
- Prioritize backlog by making trade-off decisions, balancing user delight, time to market, and business goals
- Responsible for identifying and managing dependencies and thinking about all aspects of the product, from defining business problems to implementation
- Develop release notes, product presentations, training, and other product collateral
- Define metrics for product success and track performance
- Contribute to a strong product culture of continuous development and rapid iteration
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- 5 years in Healthcare IT product management
- Experience with clinical data transport standards (e.g., FHIR), content standards (e.g., CCD, HL7) and terminology standards (e.g., SNOMED, RxNorm, LOINC, ICD-10, CPT, etc.)
- Demonstrable record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job done
- Excellent people and management skills to interact with colleagues and external parties
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strategic solution-seeker who sees opportunities when others see barriers
- Self-starter who will take initiative and be proactive when there are multiple priorities
- Travel required up to 25%
Salary : $65 - $0
