Maintains the hotel’s public areas, meeting rooms, and grounds in a high level of cleanliness and organization in accordance with company and franchise standards and provides excellent customer service to the hotels guests.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following:
- Cleans and sanitizes assigned public areas in accordance with company and franchise policy. Assists the executive housekeeper as needed with deliveries, cots, cribs, trash, etc. Assists front desk associates with deliveries to guest and meeting rooms and the cleaning of guest rooms after hours.
- Prepares and sets up meeting rooms
- Ensures hotel equipment, such as carts, vacuums, and a/v equipment are maintained properly and secured..
- Goes above and beyond, to the hotels guests. Conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times.
- Communicates with superiors and co-workers about the status of guest requests and assigned tasks.
- Alerts staff and guests to unsafe conditions and follows the company safety and security policies. Uses the hotel safe lifting procedures. Reports all incidents and injuries to the appropriate supervisor.
- Provides input and ideas on the operation of the hotel.
- Completes any other task requested by a supervisor, including training new associates.
- All other duties as assigned.
- knowledge of plumbing, ac unit to maintain, clean filter , minor room issues to fix, drywall, paint, swimming pool & spa , grass cutting and trash removal
- Transporting laundry linen to our sister property
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma preferred but not required.
