- Vision insurance Responsibilities : Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Operate vehicle in accordance with EcoSouth’s Company Safety Policy, OSHA (Occupational and Safety Health Act), DOT (Department of Transportation) as well as all local, municipal, state, and federal laws.
- Perform pre-and post-trip inspections of assigned equipment.
- Report any unsafe situations or service-related issues to dispatch.
- Report any incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage to dispatch.
- Report service problems blocked containers, or any potential safety hazards.
- Must attend and participate in all training and safety programs.
- Communicate with dispatch and supervisor to improve route production and communicate the best way to perform your duties.
- Communicate any customer requests with dispatch.
- Complete and submit work orders and driver logs as required.
- Deliver and return containers to the customer’s property in a position that ensures the safe and proper operation of the container.
Ensure driveway entrances, mailboxes, or other traffic thruways are not blocked.
- Must follow the route as assigned by dispatch and understand the customer’s needs.
- Use time management skills to ensure assigned responsibilities are completed in an efficient and safe manner. Qualifications : Qualifications and Job Requirements :
- Experience : 2 years (s) of previous experience operating a CDL vehicle.
- Must have Roll-Off Experience.
- Hold a current Class A or B Commercial 'Driver’s License with an air brake endorsement.
- Successfully complete a pre-employment DOT drug screen, physical, and background check, which will include a previous employment check, criminal history, and motor vehicle record review.
Compensation : $22 - $23 hourly
