Job Description:
ECS is seeking a highly qualified Business Analyst with an active Secret Clearance to work on our project at Randolph Air Force Base, TX. The selected candidate will be able to communicate effectively (written/verbal), possess strong interpersonal skills, be self-motivated, and be innovative in a fast-paced environment. Must hold and maintain a valid Secret Security Clearance.

Tasks associated with position
Meets with applicable components to identify, assess, document, and review business requirements. Translate requirement concepts between business and technical personnel. Works with the development team to ensure that they understand the requirements. Participate in data analysis as it pertains to issues and gaps. Creates and maintains all applicable documentation. Communicates changes to various levels. Provides technical and business support of system end users. Creates requirements documents. Maintains Requirement traceability. Translates business requirements to functional requirements and support IT design questions against requirements. Enter project issues and keep status current, as related to requirements overall scope. Work with both IT and business users in the development of new process/functionality. Develop Business process Maps. Facilitate a Business Requirement sessions.
Required Skills:
- US Citizen.
- Candidate MUST HAVE a min. Secret Security clearance and maintain such clearance.
- Associate degree with 5 years of experience performing Business Analyst functions.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Work independently, multi-task w/proactive approach to problem solving.
- Experience creating detailed test cases/script; writing Business & Functional Requirements.
- Test project requirements.
- Analyze and write Scope Change requests.
- Track requirements gathering.
Desired Skills:
- Ability to utilize computer skills to prepare appropriate reports and documents.
- Make decisions using sound judgment while complying with policies, procedures, appropriate principals and applicable state and federal laws and regulations.
- Able to work in a fast-paced production environment with ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands simultaneously.
- Excellent communication, business analytical and problem-solving/trouble shooting skills.
- Effective Customer Service and management skills/capabilities; including a demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally (internally) and/or externally.
- High level of drive and ability to learn.
