ECS is seeking a Business Information Architect to work in our Washington, DC office. Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.
Job Description:
ECS requires a Business Information Architect to support VHA's Office of Health Informatics (OHI) Strategic Investment Management or the business’ health information technology (health IT) needs by providing the information that leaders need to make sound decisions. This includes measuring success, outcomes, and the improvement of programs. To assist OHI in managing multiple, concurrent transformation initiatives, the Business Information Architect will plan and organize work, prioritize projects, and deliver and monitor business results. Regular client interaction, including potentially daily scrum meetings, facilitate scheduling of activities and rebalancing resources. The ECS Business Information Architect will exhibit a well-recognized ability to rapidly engage and leverage knowledge of VHA program operations and the Administration’s previously established goals and objectives to support a range of high-profile initiatives.
Required Skills:
- Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's degree
- Minimum Years of Experience: 8
- The Business Information Architect should have direct experience with program management and implementation, health system operations, and client management.
- The Business Information Architect performs technical analytical studies of business processes and the potential transference of those processes into an ERP or making recommendations to align the VA's posture towards the best practices deployed in private and public entities.
Desired Skills:
- The Business Information Architect should have direct experience with program management and implementation, health system operations, and client management.
- The Business Information Architect should help plan the SIM/CERM collaboration, layout the end-to-end lifecycle to set the scope of the collaboration, and staff to assist the functional area IPTs in data collection, coordination, and reporting.
- As a team member, the Business Information Architect should understand personal and team roles, contributing to a positive working environment and proactively seeking and providing guidance, clarification and, feedback.
- Communicating in an organized and knowledgeable manner in written and verbal formats including presenting to senior executives, developing lasting relationships, delivering clear requests for information and communicating potential conflicts.
