ECS is seeking a General Management Consultant to work in our Washington, DC / remote (hybrid) office.
Job Description:
ECS is seeking a full-time General Management Consultant or Healthcare Policy Consultant to provide client delivery services to the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) for policy development and related processes within the Veterans Health Administration (VHA). ECS is executing an enterprise-wide development and recertification process for VHA policy and related documents.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with proven critical thinking, communication, client relationship, and writing skills. The Consultant is responsible for managing a portfolio of work, such as supporting policy reviews and document formatting; scheduling, preparing pre- and post- materials for, and facilitating stakeholder meetings; maintaining policy-related records and status reports; and serving as the point of contact for policy inquiries. A writing sample may be requested during the interview process.
Salary Range: $80,000-$110,000

Required Skills:
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
- Strong organization, time management, and prioritization skills with proven ability to balance competing tasks, meet deadlines, and be accountable for delivering results.
- Strong problem solving, applied reasoning, and analytical skills; experience translating analysis into clear recommendations and concrete action steps for diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of products with an emphasis on Word.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green-Card Holder per contract to obtain Public Trust Clearance.
Desired Skills:
- Master's degree or higher in a relevant discipline.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
- Proficiency in document management software such as SharePoint and Salesforce.
- Understanding of quality assurance and quality control processes in healthcare or policy.
