Job Description:
ECS is seeking an Integration Test Analyst to support the execution of a variety of projects including Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning and Big Data/Cloud Solutions. This position requires strong technical leadership skills in various software languages, machine learning architecture and enterprise application integration. The candidate works closely with the technical team to swiftly prototype and develop solutions in an agile environment and deploy capabilities to the operational end user. The candidate cultivates an environment that promotes customer service, excellence in communication, innovation, collaboration, and teamwork. The Integration Test Analyst performs in a multidisciplinary team environment with tight deadlines.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform manual and automated testing (using tools like Selenium and Tricentis) for web applications and back-end data processes on a big data and analytics platform.
- Work collaboratively with developers and architects to define test approaches, prepare test data, develop test scripts, and ensure software meets requirements.
- Create and execute automated regression tests, and support production deployment and validations.
- Monitor integration performance, perform various types of testing including unit, functional, system, security, and back-end, and swiftly respond to production defects.
- Participate in an agile, rapid development and deployment environment, and communicate project status regularly.
- Strive for automation and streamlining of operations and maintenance processes, to develop strategies for improvement.
- Ensure full test coverage against requirements using clearly defined acceptance criteria, test plans, and detailed test cases for both positive and negative scenarios.
- Accurately communicate testing estimates and statuses, prioritize testing to find serious issues first, and work towards removing project roadblocks.
- Serve as the primary POC for various testing types including smoke, functional, GUI, regression, performance, security, ad-hoc, system, end-to-end, integration, and user acceptance testing.
- Analyze test results, track defects, report discovered issues, and participate in the continuous improvement of testing processes and procedures.
- Perform peer reviews on test cases, provide feedback, and utilize strong troubleshooting/problem-solving skills.
- Exhibit strong organizational skills, tracking multiple test executions simultaneously and synthesizing the results.
Required Skills:
- Active DoD Secret Security Clearance required; must be a US Citizen
- 8570 DoD Information Assurance Technician (IAT) certification required (Security CE, CASP, CISSP, SSCP, CCNA-Security, etc.)
- Experience working with testers, developers and engineers, in an agile environment, evaluating software development projects
- Experience with documenting and tracking defects
- Knowledge of coding languages such as Java, C#, Perl, SQL, HTML, CSS, and/or Python
- Excellent communication skills to include internal/external stakeholder interaction and documentation
Desired Skills:
- Ability to obtain TS/SCI Security Clearance
- Experience with C# and or Java test automation
- GitLab and JIRA experience
- Git/GitHub experience
- CSQE certification
- 3-4 years of C#/Java/Python development experience
- Experience with automation tools (i.e., Tricentis, Selenium, other)
