Job Description:
We are in search of a qualified individual who will step into the role of Operations Manager, providing adept leadership and expert guidance to all contractor personnel assigned to our contract task. In addition, this role will encompass serving as the pivotal liaison connecting our government client with our contracting staff.
ECS is currently on the lookout for a candidate with TS clearance in Pocatello, ID to take on the responsibility of overseeing an 80-person Service Desk and NOC managed services program. This program plays a vital role in supporting approximately 50,000 government and contractor end users, both CONUS and OCONUS. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of IT professionals, including system administrators, network engineers, and support staff.
- Oversee the planning, implementation, and maintenance of our IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, hardware, and data centers.
- Monitor and maintain IT services to meet established service level agreements (SLAs) and ensure a seamless user experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that IT solutions support the organization's strategic objectives.
- Manage IT budget, vendor relationships, and technology procurement to achieve cost-effective solutions.
- Implement and enforce security measures, risk assessments, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Plan and coordinate system changes, upgrades, and configurations to minimize disruptions and downtime.
- Conduct capacity planning to ensure scalability and performance optimization of IT systems.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives, process automation, and the adoption of best practices.
- Provide timely and accurate reporting on IT operations, incidents, and improvements to leadership.
Required Skills:
- Must have a current Top-Secret Clearance with the capability of obtaining SCI / CI-Poly if needed to meet contract requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience and / or technical certifications
